Graduate Management Admission Test, popularly known as GMAT is conducted by Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC) as a CBT at Test Centers and Online Test from home. GMAC has announced to launch shorter GMAT with the name -GMAT Exam Focus Edition with many aspirant friendly changes and will conduct the first exam in October 2023. Till Then current format of GMAT will continue.

Many top MBA colleges in India accept GMAT score for admission to one year MBA and some of them also accept GMAT for their 2 year flagship MBA/PGDM programs. GMAT is conducted round the year and offers opportunity to the MBA aspirant to appear in the exam 5 times a year. The cost of appearing in one GMAT exam at Test Center is USD 275 (Eqv Rs.22,000 Apprx).

GMAT is a ‘computer-adaptive’ entrance examination. This is different from being merely a ‘computer-based’ test. In a computer-adaptive test, candidates will receive questions one at a time and the difficulty level and score of the GMAT 2023 will depend on the accuracy of the previous answer of the candidate.
